Access to Apprenticeship Programme
Coventry City Council is offering 15 places to help young people aged 16-24 who need an extra boost in gaining an apprenticeship placement.
The Access to Apprenticeship is a two week programme, designed and delivered by Coventry City Council to help young people aged 16-24 who would like an apprenticeship, but need extra support in gaining one.
This programme focuses on helping you develop your employability skills to enable you to confidently apply for an apprenticeship either with Coventry City Council or with another employer.
Whilst we cannot guarantee an apprenticeship, if you show the right attitude and commitment our dedicated team will work with you to help you achieve your goals. Many people who attended our previous programmes are now completing an apprenticeship within the Council.

Week 1 and 2 includes classroom based employability sessions including, Customer Service, Confidence, Interview skills and many more.
The next Access to Apprenticeship programme starts from Monday 8th September till Friday 19th September 2014 from 9.30am - 1.00pm and will include two weeks of sessions focussing on developing employability skills we value as an employer.

The closing date for all applications is: Friday 29th August 2014
If successful at the application form stage you will be required to attend an initial interview on: Thursday 4th September 2014
