Access to Apprenticeship Programme
The Access to Apprenticeship is a two week programme, designed and delivered by Coventry City Council to help young people aged 16-24 who would like an apprenticeship, but need extra support in gaining one.
This programme focuses on helping you develop your employability skills to enable you to confidently apply for an apprenticeship either with Coventry City Council or with another employer.
Whilst we cannot guarantee an apprenticeship, if you show the right attitude and commitment our dedicated team will work with you to help you achieve your goals. Many people who attended our previous programmes are now completing an apprenticeship within the Council.

Week 1 and 2 includes classroom based employability sessions including, Customer Service, Confidence, Interview skills and many more.
The next Access to Apprenticeship programme starts from Monday 21 October 2013 - Friday 1 November 2013 from 9.30am - 1.00pm and will include two weeks of sessions focussing on developing skills we value as an employer.
Applications have now closed for the Access to Apprenticeship (ATA) courses beginning in October 2013.
From February 2014 you'll be able to apply for training programmes in 2014.
