Adoption in Coventry

From the start of February 2018 Coventry City Council joined the local authorities in Solihull, Warwickshire and Worcestershire to form a new regional adoption agency called Adoption Central England (ACE).
The change recognises there are national issues with delays in children being placed with adoptive families once it has been decided adoption is the right option.

ACE will see the four councils working closer together both in the recruitment of adoptive families as well as providing better support for the families.
ACE will be hosted by Warwickshire County Council but there will continue to be an office in Coventry.

More information about adopting through ACE can be found on the ACE website or by contacting the ACE Hub on 0300 369 0556 where an adoption social worker will be pleased to answer your queries and provide you with more information about what adoption involves.
