The Be Active Be Healthy Team runs six programmes throughout the year which are designed to help you "be active, be healthy and be happy."
One Body One Life (OBOL) is a free 8-10 week community-based healthy eating and physical activity weight management programme for families and people who want to lead a healthier lifestyle.
Coventry Healthy Walks Organises free local walks around Coventry from walks in the park to lap walks. The scheme is accredited by Walking for Health.
Active for Health is run through four different sites all offering a variety of time slots for adults aged 16+.
Just4Mums is a free healthy living and ante-natal programme for pregnant women interested in leading a healthier life. (This programme was developed in partnership with Coventry NHS and City Council Teams).
The Health and Wellbeing Service is a community based 1:1 support service for anyone living in Coventry who would like to change their lifestyle.
We deliver a fun, physical activity session every Tuesday 1:30pm - 2:30pm. This class is suitable for all adults with a mild/moderate learning disability. The cost is £2 for the hour class and it takes place at Coventry Sports Centre, Fairfax Street, 2nd floor, studio 1. Please call 024 7678 6759 for more information or just turn up on the day. The team also runs a number of healthy lifestyle courses, including, Walk leader and Chair Based Exercise Training. Also Healthy Eating Level 2 and Physical Activity Brief Intervention training.
