Equality Strategy Action Plan 2008/09

Coventry City Council's Equality Strategy Action Plan outlines the ways in which the Council aims to make Coventry a more equal place to live, work, play and be educated.

Our Equality Strategy is important to us all; managers, elected members and employees. It sets out the direction for the council on equality and diversity and how we will work to eliminate discrimination, promote equal opportunities and good relations within and outside the council. The action plan sets out the things that the council will do to address equality issues appropriately at all levels as part of our everyday business.

The Council's Equality Strategy Action Plan has been updated for 2008/09, following consultation with local people. The final draft Equality Strategy Action Plan is attached below.
