Jazzing it up with Coventry's Step Out guide for walks, activities and events

Jazz musicians from Bob Oliver's Hot Eight Vintage Jazz band and Coventry VJs took time out for a bit of improvisation at the War Memorial Park earlier this month for the launch of the city's new Step Out guide to guided walks, activities and events. These bands are part of the popular Coventry Bands in Parks programme for 2009.
Councillor Tim Sawdon, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Libraries, said: "From April through to July, this FREE compact and colourful guide provides lots of ideas on how you can enjoy outdoor life and take part in events and activities in your local area with little or no cost. With plenty of ideas and contact information, it will help you make the most of the life outside in Coventry.
