110,000 Snowdrops

Two children with snowdrops

In remembering the 11 million people who lost their lives in the Holocaust, this citywide commemoration will involve individuals, community groups and local businesses. A total of 110,000 snowdrops (each bulb representing 100 people who died during the Holocaust) will be planted across the city so that they flower this year and future years around the time of the national commemoration.

Thank you to everyone who applied

We had a fantastic response from you all about the snowdrops, and we've had to stop taking further enquiries for fear of being oversubscribed!

We'll be in touch with everyone who applied to give further instructions on how to get your snowdrops. If you still want to support the Stand up to Hatred campaign we still need your shoes!

Thanks for your interest.
