Play Centres
Coventry has two Play Centres, located in the Foleshill and Hillfields areas of the city where qualified play leaders help children to explore, develop and enjoy their play in a safe, friendly environment. Activities are designed to stimulate all ages and adjoining enclosed areas offer more choice for outdoor play.
What activities are available?
The Play Centres provide play for 5-13 year olds after school and in the school holidays. The centres are open access for children to come and go as they please and are not child minding facilities. Activities on offer include: arts and crafts, organised trips, sport and games, drama and music, cookery, cultural celebrations, special events, sewing, local and family trips and much, much more.
Parents and carers please note: a registration form must be completed for each child who will be using the Play Centre. Forms are available from both centres or by telephoning 024 7655 3781.
Who can go?
Both centres are open to children aged between 5-13 years old. Under 8's can go for a maximum of 2 hours at a time. Children with special needs are welcome.
Is there a cost?
No, admission is free. However, there is a small cost for trips and some extra activities.
