Online Planning Register

Coventry's planning portal contains application records for the period 1948 to the present day.

How to use

All documents will now be up loaded using Trapeze Webstreamer which requires that you have java runtime installed on your PC. For full details of system requirements please follow this external link Onstream Trapeze

• The Trapeze program will allow you to open the larger multi page files as well as scale from plans usinging the inbuilt tools. The following link will provide advice on how the product works; Trapeze tools
• We authorise you to view and print the material on this web site only for your personal, non-commercial use and to keep any copyright or other notices contained in the original material on any of the material you use. You can open the documents using ActiveX (windows explorer) or Java (Firefox etc.or AppleMac machines)

Openning large documents 

• If you are using the ActiveX connection then you will have greater functionality and will be able to save the documents locally onto your machine for later review (subject to copyright).  To do this open the document and then when the webstreamer opens and the first page is visable select   Menu - File - Save Copy As.
• You can then save the file to any location with some of the larger files this may take a considerable amount of time (several hours) so you will need a stable broadband connection (You can continue to use the machine whilst the documents are being saved).
• This function is provided to allow greater access to some of the more detailed planning reports and is soley for allowing greater access to the public record for consultation purposes.

Plans, drawings and material submitted to the Council as part of a planning application are protected by the Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act). You may only open or print material for consultation purposes. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner, (the applicant/ agent/ architect).

You may make copies of the decision notice provided the copies are not altered in any way.
