Best Bar None - Closing date for applications

The Closing date for Best Bar None Applications 2008 has been announced. The date for all outstanding applications to be submitted to the Licensing Team is Thursday 31st July 2008.

All venues achieving the Best Bar None standard will be invited to attend a presentation ceremony to receive their award plaques. The plaques are designed to be affixed to the exterior of the premises giving a prominent visual sign, which will be easily recognised by potential customers. Additional awards for the Best Pub, Best Club, Best Bar and Best Local Community Pub will be presented to those reaching the highest standard in the four categories.

The four best performing venues will also receive two tickets each to the glittering Godiva Awards, where the city's best overall venue will be announced and they will receive a Godiva Award Bronze statue.
