Imagination Reading Cafe
Imagination Reading Cafe’s Storytellers are Kusumika Chatterjee, an internationally renowned Asian Storyteller living in Coventry, and Pru Porretta, who has embodied the spirit of Lady Godiva in the city for many years and is well known for her work with local schools and community organisations.
Imagination Reading Cafes was set up to create a bridge between cultures by promoting reading and the love of books
by children and families of all communities but particularly in areas of high social and economic disadvantage.
Imagination
Reading Cafes provides an exciting mix of oral storytelling, music, drama and puppetry that speaks a universal language to
both children and adults - whatever their mother tongue and culture.
