Procurement
Procurement is: 'the acquisition of Works, Services and Goods, which meet the customers' (and service users') needs, whilst ensuring value for money throughout the life of the product including disposal'.
It is about the purchase of all goods, services and works needed to enable Coventry City Council to deliver services to the people of Coventry. This can be anything from pens and paper to major construction projects, such as schools and social care services therefore how we do this can vary.
