The contract is a joint funded service through Coventry City Council Supporting People, Community Services, the West Midlands Kick Start Partnership and NHS Coventry.

The aim is to provide an integrated housing support service, by providing a single point of contact and seamless co-ordination of services, in order to enable those in need of support to maintain their independance, health and well-being in their chosen home for an long as possible. This may include older people, people on low icomes, disabled people and other groups determined by local circumstances.

The contract is for 3 years and includes the option for a further 12 month extension. Units are required for multiple reasons including storage, office space, mess and canteen areas, Polling booths and toilet facilities. The successful supplier shall be able to supply all types of unit. Each of the units shall be independent as multi-purpose welfare units are not requested. All tender requirements are mandatory and any successful supplier shall be fully compliant with the requirements. Storage units. Modular and portable buildings. Storage units.

eTender - Floating Support for Refugees and Economic Migrants

Coventry City Council is looking to provide floating support for refugees and economic migrants with resource to public funds as detailed below. The tender contains specifications on the following areas.
Refugees and Economic Migrants - Case load of 150 people being provided with floating support.

The service will be what's called 'generic floating support' - its not linked to a particular scheme or building, rather it can support service users living in a range of different sorts of accommodation, including temporary housing or bed and breakfast, with the support 'floating off' once the service user has achieved an agreed level of independance and met the goals of their support plan.

The Coventry Community Safety Partnership is seeking to appoint a provider to coordinate and operate leisure and learning activities for drug users in structured treatment and support clients progression by enabling participation in mainstream leisure and learning activities. This is a new service.

The development of the service is in recognition of the National Drugs Strategy's greater emphasis on outcomes and employability. This service will assess and provide activities for 400 individuals per year and will provide a service on three levels:

  • Provision of one-off / taster activities
  • Provision of 12-week programmes of activity
  • Support to engage clients to access mainstream leisure and learning activities

The service will provide a minimum of 400 hours of one-off / taster activities and 720 hours of activity within the 12 week programmes of activity. This is a 2 year contract with a maximum value of £113,000 per annum.

The contract is jointly funded by Supporting People and Coventry Community Safety Partnership.

Supporting People (SP) is looking at how a better Housing Related Support Service could be provided for vulnerable people in the rapidly changing environment of supported housing.

This particular SP project is aimed at providing a 24 month floating housing related support service to provide support services for People with Drug and Alcohol Problems.

We will be looking for 52 units of floating support for people with an alcohol and / or drug problem.

It will address the issues that people with drug and alcohol problems present to housing providers by providing a service to enable vulnerable people to maintain or enter into their own tenancy.

Coventry City Council's Supporting People team is seeking to commission Homeless Services and is inviting tenders from qualified and experienced organisations with a proven track record.

The services to be tendered:

  • Homeless families 10 units floating support £75,000 per annum
  • Single homeless 20 units floating support £100,000 per annum
  • Rough Sleeper service 20 units floating support £150,000 per annum
  • Bond Scheme with Floating Support 60 units £46,000 per annum
  • Mediation floating support scheme for young people 20 units £19,105 per annum

Tenders in excess of these figures will not be considered
