Coventry and Warwickshire Employer Of Choice Awards
To publicly recognise organisations that are developing good employment practices and to celebrate employer's achievement in the development of work life balance and health and wellbeing we are working in partnership with Warwickshire County Council to host the Coventry and Warwickshire Employer of Choice Awards 2008.
The awards reward all sizes of businesses in Coventry and Warwickshire - from small companies that employ less than 10 people right up to corporate companies employing many thousands of employees.
Previous winners of the Warwickshire Employer of Choice Awards have found themselves to be in an excellent position where they are regarded as a top employer in the county. This mirrors itself in happy and dedicated existing staff as well as new employees seeking to work for the business.
Take a look at the Profiles booklet, to see how winners and finalists from 2007 are benefiting from the range of policies they have in place. You may discover you already offer similar benefits, and flexible working opportunities to your staff and hopefully you will be encouraged to apply.
How to apply
The closing date for applications has now closed.
The Awards evening is held on Thursday 4th December 2008 at the Dunchurch Park Hotel from 7pm till 11pm.
What we are looking for
We are looking for organisations who listen to their staff and understand the benefits, and see the positive results, of responding to their needs, by introducing flexible working and other work-life balance policies. We are also looking for employers who support their staff with a health and wellbeing programme.
Award Categories
A minimum of five Employer of Choice Awards will be presented, to one employer in each category at an awards ceremony dinner.
There are five awards which are open to employers in Coventry and Warwickshire:-
- Small - Employers with 30 or less employees
- Medium - Employers with 31 to 80 employees
- Large - Employers with 81 to 250 employees
- Corporate - Employees with 251 employees and over
- Health and Wellbeing - All employers
