Certificate to operate a public weighbridge

Anyone carrying out public weighings (usually on a weighbridge) for which a charge is made needs to hold a certificate showing they have sufficient knowledge to carry out their duties competently and honestly.

A certificate can be issued by Trading Standards following a short test.
