One-stop shops

We are improving our services and how we deliver them - this work is called Coventry Direct. We've already opened a contact centre, open 8.00am to 8.00pm weekdays and 9.00am to 1.00pm Saturdays, one-stop shops and we are continuing to invest in staff training and improved technology to help us deliver better services to you.

What is a one-stop shop?

We are working to make it easier for people to use our services in Coventry. One of the ways we are doing this is by opening "one-stop shops" in community locations around the city. One-stop shops offer a range of services – from queries about housing, neighbourhood wardens, or bins - all under one roof. The services you can access will not just be council services, but will include other organisations (such as the police and community groups).

We've also launched a mobile one-stop shop, the Coventry Direct Express, which visits different areas of the city every day offering council services and housing and Council Tax benefits advice.
