Special Projects
There are several "special projects" that the Children and Family Education team operates across the city. Some of these are activities that take place during school time, normally small group work working on things like self-esteem, communication and building relationships (Playground Pals, NDC). Others are stand alone projects that give the children the opportunity to take part in projects around consultation, research and IT or healthy lifestyles.
We also have projects like Playpartners, which helps children with SEN, learning difficulties or behavioural difficulties to access play settings across the city with their own 1-1 worker.
