Junior school admissions

Information regarding applying for a school place at a junior school in Coventry.

The are two junior schools in Coventry:

  • Christ the King Catholic Junior School
  • Eastern Green Junior School

Both of the above schools have close links with their respective infant schools, Christ the King Catholic Infant and St Andrew's Church of England Infant Schools. The majority of parents wish their children to transfer from the infant school to the respective junior school. The Local Authority will forward applications for Christ the King Catholic Junior School to the school as admissions to this school is the responsibility of the schools' Governing Body. They in turn will inform the Local Authority of their allocation of places. The Local Authority is responsible for the allocation of places at Eastern Green Junior School.

We will inform parents applying for junior school places of the outcome of their application on 21 April 2008.
