Youth Service
The aim of the Youth Service is to engage young people in personal, social and emotional development opportunities that are challenging, supportive, exciting, and fun and that enable them to remain involved in lifelong learning.
Coventry Youth Service offers programmes of personal and social development to young people aged 11-21 years. With over 30 youth centres and projects in the city the service aims to extend the experience of young people complementing the more formal learning received in schools. Residential, overseas exchanges and outdoor activities are organised as well as arts and music based projects.
The service works closely with the Youth Offending Service, Connexions and the Primary Care Trust to ensure the risks young people encounter are minimised.
