Welcome to the pages of the Coventry City Council Conservation and Archaeology Team, here you will be able to find out more about the city's historic environment and how it is protected and enhanced
These pages provide guidence for people who occupy a Listed Building or a property in a Conservation Area. You will be able to find out what a Conservation Area is, what the difference is between a Statutory Listed Building and a Locally Listed Building and how it could affect you.
You will also be able to find information about Coventry's nationally important archaeological remains, and how these are protected by planning processes along with information on the new Coventry Historic Environment Record.
