Coventry Design Awards 2009

The Coventry Design Awards are held every two years to recognise design excellence in the city. The awards are run by Coventry City Council and give local people the opportunity to nominate examples of good design that they think make a significant contribution to the image and quality of the city.

The Council recognises that good design helps to make Coventry a better place to live, work and visit. The awards aim to raise the profile of urban design as well as celebrating the high quality built environment we have in the city.

The new buildings category was nominated, and voted for, by local people. All other short listed nominations were judged by an expert panel.
