Kerbside recycling scheme

Coventry City Council provides kerbside collections of garden waste and paper / cardboard.


If you do not have either a paper box or a brown-lidded bin please inform us by using the contact details at the foot of this page.

Recycling calendar

The recycling is collected on the same day as your household refuse bin. The paper box and garden waste bin are collected on alternate weeks.

Your recycling facilities:

You can:

  • Participate in the kerbside collection scheme.
  • Present your bin or box on the kerbside where it is visible by 7.00am on your collection day.
  • Please remove your bin or box from the pavement once it has been emptied.
  • Recycle your glass, aluminium cans, textiles, paper and cardboard at the recycling sites provided.
  • Avoid purchasing products with excess packaging.
  • Buy recycled products when available.

Compost bin offers

Coventry City Council in partnership with RecycleNow are offering discounted Compost Converters. You can find out more about composting on our composting garden waste page.

Water butts

Water butts are available from Severn Trent Water.
