Flyposting
Flyposting is an illegal, anti-social activity that creates a negative impression of an area and contributes to people's fear of crime.
Coventry City Council is constantly seeking to reduce crime, the fear of crime and improve the environment in which our citizens live. Fly posting undermines this goal. It degrades the local 'street scene' and helps give the impression of urban decay - it is also illegal.
Our aim is to reduce and control fly posting in the city through education and enforcement.
We aim to:
- Remove fly posting from public property or street furniture within 5 working days
The council has drawn up an anti-flyposting policy, which is available to download as a PDF document (92kb).
If you would like any unsightly flyposting removed from Council property, private property or street furniture, please use the contact details.
