Supported and Sheltered Housing
Supported Housing ranges from domestic violence refuges to sheltered housing for elderly people. Coventry City Council administers funding for supported housing through the Supporting People programme. The Supporting People programme is all about providing housing related support services to enable people to live independently.
The Supporting People programme
The Supporting People Team are located in Spire House and can be contacted on 024 7683 1072. The team are responsible for administering charges and carrying out reviews of the services in order to ensure that they are operating correctly.

Sheltered housing
Sheltered housing is the most common form of supported housing. It is specifically designed for people of a pensionable age who have low support needs. Here you can find details on how to apply and who provides the schemes in Coventry.
