ActiveZone is Go!
Activezone has undergone a change this year, starting with the name. The children's activities scheme will now be known as Go!
How to find out about Go! events
There will no longer be a printed programme, and the list of events and activities will appear on the following pages.
- Go! activities week 1 - 19 July to 25 July
- Go! activities week 2 - 26 July to 1 August
- Go! activities week 3 - 2 August to 8 August
- Go! activities week 4 - 9 August to 15 August
- Go! activities week 5 - 16 August to 22 August
- Go! activities week 6 - 23 August to 29 August
This will mean it will be up to date, and extra events can be added. All Coventry libraries offer free internet access, and The Coventry Telegraph will be running a weekly What's On guide for those who do not have access to the internet at home.
What is Go!?
Go! is a jam-packed diary of activities that is put together to keep kids occupied over the summer holidays. There is always a huge programme of events, with something for everyone whatever your interests. The scheme is run and funded by Coventry City Council and has grown in popularity and now boasts an attendance in excess of 20,000. The scheme, now in its 15th year, runs for six weeks over the school holidays, and the majority of the events are free.
