Coventry Peace Month 2006

The overall theme of Coventry Peace Month 2006 will highlight the city's reputation for peace and reconciliation. We are also encouraging events which showcase the cultural diversity of Coventry and positive relationships between communities.

Coventry has so many people living in it, with so many different backgrounds, different cultures and different ways of thinking. Coventry Peace Month gives us the chance to promote ourselves and spread understanding of our cultures - through dance, music, film, sports, talks and theatre.

Peace = unity, friendship, love, harmony, brotherhood
Reconciliation = bring back into friendship, agreement, concord, mediation
Diversity = varied, range, array, choice, variety
