Park events and activities

Coventry has a wealth of open spaces available for public use, 10 main parks and over 2,400 acres of open spaces spread across the city. You can play golf at Allesley, tennis in the War Memorial Park go fishing at Coombe Country Park. Please visit Parks in Coventry page for information on your local park.

Gardens and open spaces

Coventry also has a number of delightful urban gardens and open spaces like Greyfriars Green, beautifully decorated for the city's Britain in Bloom, and Lady Herbert's Garden and the Garden of International Friendship, two peaceful gardens near the city's surviving mediaeval gates and leading to the stunning Whittle Arch on Millennium Place.
