What is anti-social behaviour?
Anti-social behaviour describes those selfish and unacceptable acts that can blight the quality of life in communities. We are a key member of the Community Safety Partnership and take a leading role in tackling anti social behaviour through:
- Education - educating our young people and the wider community about acceptable behaviour
- Prevention - prevention of nuisance behaviour with everything from patrols of the Corporate Warden Service and the 12 council-funded Police Community Support Officers through to making changes to the environment to make anti-social behaviour more difficult to commit
- Enforcement - enforcement of the law against perpetrators can include prosecution for noise nuisance and fly-tipping, Acceptable Behaviour Contracts and Anti-social Behaviour Orders
| Reports of anti-social behaviour should be made to Coventry's It's Your Call 24-hour action line on 024 7683 1300. |
