- Corridor 4 - Binley Road (and Ernesford Grange)
PrimeLines works along Binley Road
The Binley Road (A428) is a major corridor linking the City Centre with various areas of Coventry such as Gosford Green, Stoke, Ernesford Grange, Binley and Walsgrave. It also connects the City Centre with the A46 and is the main route, along with Ansty Road, to reach the Walsgrave Hospital.
The Binley Road Corridor is a Bus Showcase scheme under the PrimeLines Brand but not the PrimeLines Project and therefore, the PrimeLines Project deadline of March 2008 does not apply to this corridor. The 4 PrimeLines corridors which have this deadline for completion are Corridor 1 - Foleshill Road, Corridor 3 - Ansty Road, Corridor 5 - Willenhall and Corridor 7 - University.
The main services that run along the corridor are the 13, 13a and the 34, run by Travel Coventry and the 86 which is run by Stagecoach. The service 13 is ran using the new Gemini-type buses. The 4, run by Travel Coventry, the 37, 47, 74, 75 and 585, run by Travel DeCourcey and the 100, 101 and 102 run by A-Line also have elements of their journey along this corridor.
For information on specific terms that may be included in these pages, consult the PrimeLines Glossary.

The Binley Road corridor is split into 5 sections.
4.1 Binley Road - Walsgrave Road to Humber Road
PrimeLines have constructed a bus lane from the A444 roundabout through the junction with Gulson Road to connect to the end of the Sky Blue Way bus lane on its way into the city centre. We have also improved the parking and cycling facilities as well as resurfacing parts of the footway and renewing traffic signage.
4.2 Binley Road - Humber Road to Biggin Hall Crescent
PrimeLines have upgraded the bus stops along this section of Binley Road as well as assisting the highway maintenance team with the resurfacing of the carriageway and the cycle lanes.
4.3 Binley Road - Biggin Hall Crescent to Princethorpe Way
PrimeLines have completed the construction of an outbound bus lane from Wyver Crescent to a new bus gate just before the junction with Hipswell Highway and Allard Way with Binley Road. Another outbound bus lane then starts just after this junction and continues until the junction of Princethorpe Way with Binley Road. PrimeLines have also upgraded all the bus stops in this section to PrimeLines standard and completed various landscaping schemes and the construction of some parking bays.
4.4 Brandon Road - Princethorpe Way to A46 Coventry Eastern Bypass
PrimeLines have upgraded all the bus stops along this section of Binley Road.

Other PrimeLines work on the Binley Road corridor:
