This is the largest room and can accommodate up to 60 people (50 seated and 10 standing). The room retains a wealth of original features including a vaulted beamed ceiling with an impressive stone fireplace and is furnished to a very high standard with medieval chandeliers. Exit from this room is via a winding staircase down to a huge oak door into a large stone flagged courtyard, where a section of the city wall still remains. A small wooden bridge within the courtyard, with the Manor House as a backdrop, provides delightful opportunities for your important photographs and memories of your special day.
The ceremony timings allow for the provision of personalisation of your ceremony, to include your own choice of vows, readings, music etc. The layout of the room also allows for the bride to be escorted down the aisle by someone of her choice.
Any other special requests will be considered and can usually be accommodated as long as they are within the constraints of the law.
