Cook and Eat Well in Coventry is funded by the Coventry Health Improvement Programme (CHIP). Lots of organisations are involved. It's a bit like a good dish - with lots of quality ingredients coming together to make something amazing.

Coventry Health Improvement Programme (CHIP)

CHIP is a partnership initiative between Coventry City Council and NHS Coventry. It has £18 million to invest on projects that focus on nine health-related themes. The Cook and Eat Well in Coventry programme forms part of the Healthy Weight theme for CHIP.

Groundwork West Midlands

A charity working alongside local communities, public bodies, private companies and other voluntary sector organisations to support communities in need. Groundwork West Midlands oversees Cook and Eat Well in Coventry.

An organisation that believes learning can transform everyone's life chances, outlook and health. ContinYou is working with Groundwork West Midlands to deliver the cooking elements of Cook and Eat Well in Coventry.

Food Dudes

A primary school healthy eating programme for 4-11 year olds. Food Dudes will be visiting 30 schools across Coventry.

Voluntary Action Coventry (VAC)

Voluntary Action Coventry is the overall umbrella body and infrastructure organisation for voluntary and community groups in Coventry. It provides support, advice and training to the voluntary and community sector in the City as well as running a range of projects that benefit the sector. VAC will be running the Cook and Eat Well Development Fund, a grant scheme that will provide funding for local groups to set up healthy eating projects and cooking clubs.
