Music Mark

Music Mark is a membership organisation, subject association and charity.  On behalf of its members and the wider sector, Music Mark lobbies for, and champions, a government-supported, high-quality, music education provision for all school-aged children and young people which addresses diversity, equity and inclusion at its core.

There is a fabulous document from Music Mark which will help you to ask useful questions of school leaders and teachers to improve outcomes in music. In the document Music Mark provides questions that will help you to support and challenge senior and subject leaders about music provision in your school. We follow these questions with a few pointers. We would never suggest that these responses are the ‘correct answers’ but they will guide you on to lines of thinking that will help you to improve your knowledge and understanding of music making in your school.
