| Description | Close to the Air Museum in Baginton, is the Lunt Roman Fort, once inhabited by the Roman Army. This ancient site provides a fascinating snapshot of Roman military life. The Lunt is a partial reconstruction of a fort that was established there in 64AD following the Boudiccan rebellion. You can see the Museum of Roman Military Life with archaeological finds, which features a model of the Roman fort as it appeared in 64AD. Re-enactments of military manoeuvres take place occasionally. |
