The Coventrian is a 25 metre Narrowboat operating both educational schemes and private hire along the length of the Coventry canal
The Coventrian Narrow Boat is owned and operated by The Living Environment Trust; a charity that works with communities to encourage positive interaction between the built and natural environments.
All profit obtained from the hire of The Coventrian is directed into the development of The Living Canals Project; an educational scheme aimed at introducing school children to concepts of waterway ecology, canal history and heritage, travel and transport, and environmental impact.
Saturday 8 September canal boat trips depart from Coventry Canal Basin (CV1 4LY) at 12noon and 2pm
Sunday 9 September canal boat trips depart from Hawkesbury Junction, Sutton Stop (CV6 6DF) at 3pm and 5pm
There is no wheelchair access. However if the person can be lifted from the wheelchair onto the boat along with the wheelchair then help can be provided. The same can be done with pushchairs/prams. Please let us know if this help is required.
Max 24 people per tour/session. Refreshments are available on board. A fully licensed bar is also available on board.
The Canal Basin is located in the City Centre CV1 4LY.
Hawkesbury Junction is located in the Longford area of Coventry next to the 'Greyhound' public house - CV6 6DF.
Bus route 8a from City Centre Pool Meadow bus station.
The Coventrian Narrow Boat is generally moored at Swan Lane Wharf.
