Coventry is not starting from scratch in its support to improve wellbeing. There are a number of key campaigns, programmes of work and organisations that already support the 10 ways to feeling good and doing well in Coventry.
If you are feeling stressed, anxious, depressed to the extent that this is stopping you from doing everyday things like working, going out, or is affecting your relationships, speak to your GP or contact the IAPT Services 'Improving Access to Psychological Therapies' on 024 7667 1090. This is where you may be able to get some short term support. There is a website which will give you more information, self help material and downloads. Coventry and Warwickshire Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT).
IAPT can work with people who are aged 16 and over, who are registered with a local GP in Coventry and Warwickshire, and who are not already under the care of specialist mental health services.
