Health and Wellbeing Board

Coventry's Health and Wellbeing Board is a forum for local commissioners across the NHS, public health and social care, councillors and representatives of HealthWatch.

The group will work together to improve the health and wellbeing of their local population and reduce health inequalities.

Board members will collaborate to understand their local community's needs, agree priorities and encourage commissioners to work in a more joined up way and therefore offer better services.

A shadow board has been formed in Coventry and meets on a quarterly basis. The board will officially start on 1 April 2013.
