Supplementary planning guidance

Adopted supplementary planning guidance will have been subject to extensive public consultation and can take the form of:

• Design guides
• Area development briefs
• Supplements policies of the adopted 2001 Coventry Development Plan

Those that are draft may still be within the consultation period.  If the document you require is not available please contact the Planning Advisory Desk and where possible we will publish the document. In some instances we have provided external links to Government web pages providing further information on the specific topic.

All Supplementary planning guidance is monitored, revised or revoked from time to time in response to changing circumstances.

The implementation of the Local Development Framework will change the status of some SPG. The LDF work programme lists those current Supplementary planning guidance which we are looking to keep under the new system.  As part of the new planning system, Supplementary Planning Documents will now be prepared and have replaced the old term of supplementary planning guidance.
