Cycle training

Bikeability training (modern version of cycling proficiency) for children is delivered in many primary schools by our cycle training team. Contact your school office to check if they are taking part this year.  For school cycle training in Warwickshire  see

Indoor Learn to Ride sessions for children and adults

Do you have little or no cycling experience and would like help to learn the basics of balancing, pedalling, turning and stopping a bicycle?

If you live work or study in Coventry you can book one free 2 hour learn to ride lesson with our cycle trainers. 

Training takes place in the sports hall at Coventry Sports Centre and you can ask to borrow a bike and helmet when you book online.

Bookings are now open for sessions on Saturdays up to the end of March and February Half Term.

Children's sessions are for ages 4-15 and adults' sessions are for ages 16+. 

Please book online (maximum one session per rider) 

On road training for adults

On road cycle training for adults who live, work or study will also be made available on request.
