There will be some road closures and all information on how to get to the event and around the city on the day can be on the travel page. There is also information about car parks and drop-off points and more on the event website, along with details of the route and the event. Please plan ahead and check public transport timetables and your route before you set off.
Road closures will be in place for a while, so public transport, walking and cycling will be the best way to enjoy the day. Organisers have tried to keep road closures to a minimum to avoid disruption. There will be several crossing points for pedestrians and vehicles before the start of the race, with some staying open during the race. Most roads will be closed from 7.30am and will reopen in route order, once the runners have passed by. Roads should start to reopen around 9.55am and will be fully open by 1.30pm.

Most car parks in Coventry are run by the Council. We look after the day-to-day running of the car parks, making sure people can find a parking space and that the equipment is working at all times.
The safety of the people who use the car parks is important and we are improving the security to reach the high standards of the Safer Parking Scheme.
