Junior school admissions

There is one junior school in Coventry, covering year groups 3 - 6 (Key Stage 2):

• Eastern Green Junior School

The school has close links with their infant school, St Andrew's Church of England Infant School. The majority of parents wish their children to transfer from the infant school to the junior school, but can also apply to other primary schools. It is also possible for parents from other schools to apply for a place at Eastern Green at the end of Year 2.  

The local authority is responsible for the allocation of places at Eastern Green Junior School, and as such the admissions criteria is that used at any other maintained or voluntary controlled school.

Parents applying for junior school places for September 2012 will be able to do so from September 1 2011. You can apply here up until 15 January 2012.

If you are applying for a place at Eastern Green Junior school throughout the year, you would need to complete an in-year transfer form, as with any other school.
