Progress Project

BBO progress logo 2018

The ‘Progress’ project is a brand new, tailored programme of coaching and support to help young people across Coventry and Warwickshire access training and employment opportunities.

The programme has been designed to help young people aged 15 – 24 improve their chances of employment by offering them coaching support and bespoke activities in order to build skills and confidence and ultimately put them on the right path to a successful future.

Led by Groundwork UK, with support from the Council and local delivery partners, Progress aims to transform the prospects of young people who are NEET (not in employment, education or training), or at risk of NEET in Coventry and Warwickshire.

‘Progress’, is a part of ‘Building Better Opportunities’ - a programme funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery, through the Big Lottery Fund, to tackle poverty and social exclusion faced by the most disadvantaged people in England.

The Job Shop has a dedicated Job Coach who will provide job searching support to customers referred from our ‘Progress’ partners.
