Approved premises are venues that have been granted a licence to hold civil marriage ceremonies. You should contact each of the venues directly for more information about the services they offer.
If you are not already an approved premises and wish to make an application to become a civil wedding venue you can download and complete the relevant documents. These include an application form, checklist and Annex A and B which say what a venue needs to tell couples and the conditions attached to any licence.
There is an application fee of £1,500 for this licence.
A civil marriage ceremony can be held at any Approved Premises in England and Wales. These are buildings which are licensed by the local council for this purpose.
There are many places in Coventry where you can get married - including hotels, football clubs, stately homes, St Mary's Guildhall and the historic Coombe Abbey.
