Coventry Healthy Walks sets up and helps to lead a network of walks in the community. The project aims to encourage people to join weekly led walks and also take up more independent walking as part of their daily lifestyle.
We have a vast range of walks that run across the whole city and these are open to everyone. We believe our walks cater for everybody's needs and that everybody in the city has a chance to enjoy them.
Remember: If you're out walking wear suitable footwear and clothing.
Please note: Sometimes walks have to be cancelled at late notice, please telephone 024 7678 5627 or 07508 094 341 to make sure your walk is taking place.
Take a look at our walk timetable and see which walk you would like to go along too, then just turn up to the walk.
If you feel you have a medical condition that may restrict you from doing exercise, please visit your local GP to be referred.
If possible, please then print off and fill in the outdoor health questionnaire and bring it with you to the walk. If you are unable to, don't worry, our walk leaders will have copies for you.
If a child is taking part in the walk, a responsible adult (18+) will need to be with the child. This is for insurance purposes.

There a loads of great reasons for joining our walks!
If you have problems with your health, or if you've had them in the past, it can be hard to stay active.
But walking could make all the difference. It's a low impact exercise, so it's easy for you to get involved - even if you're not feeling your best. In fact, walking could help you feel great again!
It is recommended that you aim to build up to 150 minutes of brisk walking or other similar activities, over a week. You are encouraged to walk at your own pace, but at a pace which makes your heart beat a little faster and your breathing a little quicker.
Apart from all the health benefits of walking, you can also receive healthy walks goodies. If you attend 16 walks or our other healthy lifestyle courses you will receive a bag of goodies.
