Family Learning

Did you know?

Children spend 85% of their time with you at home and you, as their parent or carer, are your child's most important teacher.  Family learning can help you to gain the skills and knowledge to help your child do their best at school.

In Coventry, Family Learning is provided by the Adult Education Service and offers a wide range of exciting programmes which are free and fun.  On some programmes children and parents learn together.  Others are for parents only, often supported by a creche. 

On our adult learning programmes you will:

• Find out what your child learns at school
• Learn how to support them with their school work
• Improve your own English and Maths
• Gain qualifications in English and Maths

Some courses are only suitable for those who do not already have a maths or English qualification.
