I thought the cover was eye-catching, the story was extremely descriptive. The plot line thrilled me to the very bone. Every event made me gasp in awe. It is set in the Victorian Era and very rightly so. I thought everything that happened was amazing. I was truly struck by this book. I recommend everyone to read this. Honestly, it is the best book EVER!

I love HIVE!  We saw Mark Walden speak a couple of years ago and he was so cool - in the proper geeky sort of way he ought to be (anything else would have been a disappointment!)  Who else would come up with a school for villains - or perhaps why hasn't it been done before?!  Otto and his new mates are some of the best characters out there right now - and I recommend the series to everyone. Too right.
