Coventry Teaching Primary Care Trust (PCT) is the NHS organisation responsible for making sure that people that live in Coventry have access to the healthcare they need.

The Primary Care Trust for both Coventry and Warwickshire offers practical help on a range of subjects including:

• Sexual health
• Maternity services
• Smoking cessation
• Opticians
• Sports and fitness

GPs

Local practises provide a wide range of services on all manner of health problems including vaccinations, examinations, treatments and prescriptions.  Most surgeries also offer health screening services, minor operations and maternity/baby clinics.  Please use the PCT website to search for a local GP, registration takes place directly with the surgery and will normally involve a health MOT

Out of hours GP care is also available throughout Coventry and Warwickshire.

Dentists

There are many NHS dental surgeries still accepting new patients as well as many private practises within the city.  Coventry Primary Care Trust offer an online search facility which will give you details of your nearest practise and registration takes place individually with the practice.
