Registering an approved premise in Coventry

If you are not already an Approved Premises and wish to make an application to become a civil wedding venue you can download the application form and guidance. There is an application fee of £1200 for this licence.

Approved premises in Coventry

Under current law, it is possible to have a civil marriage ceremony at any Approved Premises in England and Wales. These are buildings which are licensed by the local council for this purpose.

There are many places in the City of  Coventry where you can get married - including hotels, football clubs, stately homes, St Mary's Guildhall and the historic Coombe Abbey .
