Apprenticeships

If you are aged 16-24, we offer an opportunity to earn while you learn with the Council and other local organisations on an apprenticeship training scheme. There will be a range of different apprenticeship opportunities available during the course of the year.

Unfortunately due to the availability of apprenticeship funding, we are unable to accept applications from candidates who have completed or intend to complete a degree.

Typically the range of apprenticeships include:

  • business administration
  • finance
  • catering
  • IT
  • sports development
  • building maintenance
  • horticulture
  • craft apprenticeships (subject to availability)
