Introduction

The Business Sector Growth Team (BSGT) provides investment assistance to businesses in the wider city area. The team will help you develop your plans and/or access a number of grant and loan schemes that can contribute finance to qualifying investment projects.

Coventry and Warwickshire Enterprise and Business Growth Package

This European (ERDF) funded programme supports start up businesses, high growth businesses, manufacturers, innovative and digital businesses with a range of support activity from marketing, people management and finance  to resource efficiency. Businesses (employing less than 250 staff) engaging with the programme and looking to invest can benefit from a targeted grant element.

Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chain Initiative

Businesses operating in the automotive or aerospace industries particularly and the wider engineering sector more generally can access loans and grants to improve their ability to tender for and supply the contracts of major players and their immediate suppliers.

Other programmes and partners

Regional Growth Fund (3) the team offers technical assistance to businesses looking to access the government's Regional Growth Fund (3).  A minimum grant of £1 million is the norm to support projects valued at over £5 million. www.bis.gov.uk/rgf

MAS, (Manufacturing Advisory Service) is one of the Governments Solutions for Business suite of offerings, jointly funded by BIS (The Department of Business Innovation and Skills) and the nine English Regional Development Agencies.
