Essential maintenance work - Sunday 4 December

We will be working on our online systems on Sunday 4 December so you may experience disruption between 10.00am and 12noon. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

How to pay your Council Tax bill

You can pay by the following methods. Your payments must be received by the due dates on your bill to avoid recovery action starting.

How to set up a Direct Debit or amend your existing Direct Debit details

Sign up to pay your Council Tax bill by direct debit online.

You will need your Council Tax customer reference number, your bank's sort code and your bank account number.

If you are setting up a direct debit, we will send you a new bill when this has been done so please continue to make your payments as usual until then.

If you are amending existing direct debit details we will send you a bill to confirm when this has been done. Payments will continue to be collected from your existing account until your direct debit details have been changed.

If you are on a Coventry City Council internal network, please use the internal link to sign up.

Pay online

We accept all major credit/debit cards except for American Express and Diners cards. You can make a payment by using our 24 hour Secure Internet Payment Site.
