Procurement

The Council is committed to continuous improvement and value for money through the procurement of goods, services and works. In some instances, it may be appropriate to invite potential suppliers to contribute through consultation to the development of solutions to meet service needs. In this way the Council will be able to draw on the market expertise and suppliers will have the opportunity to match their products and services to the Council's requirements. In particular complex tenders, the opportunity to attend briefings by Council procurers prior to tender in order to ensure an effective tender exercise.
